Gong Poem No. 3 for Big Tent Poetry

Big Tent Gong Poem 3 Based on rob mclennan’s wild horses, the poem, “rereading paige ackerson-kiely on the plane back to Edmonton”

if this delay were darkness

whistling down the morning

star from the east

does not always bring

the promise of light

nor

do

tears

on  your cheeks

drying too fast to

be caught

by strands of moonlight’s net

  1. I could have sworn I left a comment on this yesterday! Perhaps I did something wrong with the word verification. The poem is beautiful - I particulary like "strands of moonlight's net."
