COME THEY CLOSE

Come they close to earth
spinning forever from planets
Spread beyond where spacecraft
sought signals lost when angels
Once fought amongst the stars
in an endeavour
To reach through the tangle
surrounding what some say
was the old moon, but is now
just the lunatic loser
Upon which all fear to tread.

  7. Having been blamed for so much imbalance, the moon as lunatic loser makes so very much sense. Love how you wove these words in an almost mystical manner, a tale filled with stars and earthly desires.

  8. Thanks all - I blame Luna for much of my own imbalanced transgressions so this seemed a fun way to jab her another way...in truth, I love her dearly.
